Premonition

Premonition explores rituals and fate in a technologized world. Set in a Neapolitan

dry cleaner, the video installation follows a multi-stage cleansing ritual in which

human gestures and machine movements intertwine like a quiet dance

The boundaries between labour and technology, body and

mechanism, begin to blur. After the washing process, the garments are wrapped in

protective plastic - a thin membrane shielding personal destiny. On the conveyor

belt, they circle endlessly like a carousel, evoking cycles of automation, order, and

control, while hinting at the unknown forces shape what seems already written.
